    The Session

Why do successful Italian and European companies so often struggle to translate that success into the U.S. market?

Using America Doesn't Speak European as the starting point, we'll look at the realities companies encounter when entering the United States, from understanding American customers and positioning a brand, to navigating the financial, operational, and cultural differences of doing business across 50 very different markets.

    What We'll Cover

Four realities of the U.S. market

    01

    Understanding the American customer

How U.S. Buyers and consumers decide, and why what works at home often gets lost in translation.

    02

    Positioning a brand for America

Telling your story in a way that makes sense to an American audience, without losing what makes you different.

    03

    Finance, structure and state selection

Choosing where and how to set up, from compliance and tax to M&A and company formation.

    04

    50 very different markets

Why the U.S. is not one market, and how to plan for the operational and cultural differences between them.
